Metrolinx is issuing this Request to Qualify and Quote to retain a Proponent to provide the goods and/or services described herein. Metrolinx intends to award a Contract through an open, fair and competitive process.

You are invited to submit your Submission for the Provision of vendor services for Business Intelligence Services for the PRESTO Office from 2018 to 2021, as more particularly described in Appendix “B” – Vendor’s Scope of Work.

The goal of the PRESTO Business Intelligence System, START (Single Tap Analytic Reporting Tool), is to provide a scalable solution for the PRESTO Business Unit with an ability to support critical information needs of itself and its Transit System customers to effectively and efficiently manage operations against client service expectations.

START began with the focus of servicing the Transit Systems and the PRESTO Finance team to support financial reconciliation by combining and aggregating the transactional data that is created by use of the PRESTO card.

The vision of START is to continue to develop and enhance the data warehouse by either combining PRESTO data with non-PRESTO sources and/or developing new areas of analytics.

It is Metrolinx’s option to award this contract to more than one (1) Vendor.   The term of the contract will be for three (3) years.

Responses to the RQQ will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. ET on March 8, 2018 through Electronic Bid Submission (EBS) at the Metrolinx MERX Portal.

Proponents must download the RQQ documents from the Metrolinx MERX Portal in order for their submission to be considered. Metrolinx reserves the right to reject any or all submissions at its sole discretion.
