Metrolinx is accepting Submissions for Provision of Real Estate Appraisal Services VOR + 2nd Stage
ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSION will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2025.
***NOTE: ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSION

Your Submission for this opportunity must be sent to Metrolinx through the use of
MetrolinxMERX EBS. Bidders shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their Submission
using MetrolinxMERX EBS by the Closing, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

Only Proponents who possess the following experience and qualifications will be
considered for award of this Contract:

The Proponent should demonstrate its experience in performing work similar in scope,
complexity and estimated value as the Scope of Work stated in this Request Document, by
including a detailed description of the Corporate Firms qualifications and experience
including but not limited to:

I) A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in project management of consulting services for public sector.

II) A minimum of ten (10) years of experience with providing services including appraisal
reports in compliance with Uniform Standards of Profession Appraisal Practice,
identification of highest and best use of properties to be appraised, site visits, and report
of analysis and conclusions.

III) Experience in valuation of residential, commercial and industrial assets, especially
mixed-use high-density transit-oriented development assets.

IV) Experience in valuation of partial undertakings and easements; and

V) Experience in valuation analysis under the Expropriation Act, including familiarity with
the concept of injurious affection.

VI) Possession of corporate membership in the professional association(s) relevant to
their discipline;

VII) The appropriate staff resources necessary to accommodate large scale
projects/assignments and volume of work from an organization the size of Metrolinx,
which has a large pipeline of planned projects.

VIII) Provided examples of reports for Proponent’s other clients that is relevant to
the type of Work requested.

Metrolinx reserves the right to reject any or all Submissions at its sole discretion.
