Metrolinx is accepting Submissions for Supply and Installation of High Voltage Pole Replacement at Uxbridge Tower Site
A Mandatory Site Meeting will be held at “Friday July 7 @ 10:00 a.m. Toronto, Ontario time.”(Time is subject to change. Bidders will be notified via Addenda if time changes) ******Refer to the Tender document on location and instructions regarding the release of liability form to the Procurement Representative prior to this Mandatory Information Meeting.

Failure of Contractor to be present and registered from the time the meeting is called to order until the meeting is adjourned will result in disqualification from the procurement process.
All Bidders, their employees, agents, Subcontractors and Suppliers, shall wear appropriate safety wear as per above at all times while they are on the site. Failure to comply shall result in exclusion from the site resulting in the consequences stated in the Instructions to Bidders.

Please be advised that, as per the October 1, 2019 changes to the Construction Act, RSO 1990, c C30, the Terms and Conditions in the Form of Tender for this solicitation contain new requirements.
ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSION will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on July 20, 2023.

***NOTE: ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSION Your Submission for this opportunity must be sent to Metrolinx through the use of MetrolinxMERX EBS. Bidders shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their Submission using MetrolinxMERX EBS by the Closing, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Only Contractors who possess the following experience and qualifications will be considered for award of this Contract: Only qualified Contractors will be considered for award of this Contract. In order to be considered qualified; the Contractor shall have been successfully pre-qualified under Metrolinx Prequalification No. SQ-2017-CUS-011 or SQ-2020-ENTS-072 Category C Major Mainline, to submit a Tender for the Work of this Contract. The Bidder must also demonstrate to the satisfaction of Metrolinx in the sole discretion of Metrolinx, that the Bidder has achieved as least one (1) of the following requirements:
(i) CORTM Certified status with the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA); or
(ii) ISO 45001; or
(iii) Out-of-Province CORTM Reciprocity (for bidding purposes only) through IHSA.
Metrolinx reserves the right to reject any or all Submissions at its sole discretion.
