Provision of Heritage Property Consulting Services

The Transit Oriented Communities (TOC) Program leverages Metrolinx real estate assets and/or the third-party investment to unlock land value and utility in pursuit of the following specific objectives:

Increase transit ridership and reduce traffic congestion
Increase housing supply and jobs with access to transit
Catalyze complete communities based on good planning principles
Positive value capture for the Province to maximize transit investments while reducing tax payer burden

To implement the TOC Program, specialized heritage consulting services, including but not limited to cultural heritage evaluations, strategic conservation plans, heritage impact assessments, will be required in a timely manner whenever TOC opportunities associated with Metrolinx-owned properties and/or partnership with interested developers arise. Such services require firsthand knowledge and experience in identification, evaluation, and management of cultural heritage resources.

The objective of this Request to Qualify and Quote (RQQ) is to solicit proposals from Proponents for the provision of Heritage Consulting Services on an as required basis.
Details of the scope of services are described in the Scope of Work section of the tender document.

Responses to the Tender will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. EST on March 10, 2022 through Electronic Bid Submission (EBS) at the Metrolinx MERX Portal.
Proponents must download the tender documents from the Metrolinx MERX Portal in order for their submission to be considered. Metrolinx reserves the right to reject any or all submissions at its sole discretion.
