Software Licensing Compliance Services

Metrolinx releases of this RFP to solicit proposals through an open competitive process.

The Metrolinx I&IT Software Asset Management (SAM) group have centralized processes in place to manage assets predominately related to desktop and COTS products and more recently infrastructure related products. The Metrolinx SAM processes are intended to tightly manage software investments, in order to proactively benefit from cost savings, cost avoidance and the optimum return on investment. Metrolinx view the following activities as key to its SAM program:

Visibility and control of assets
Optimizing the use (re-use) of assets
Compliance reporting
Reducing unnecessary costs, e.g., Maintenance and Support

Metrolinx requires a Vendor to deliver Services in support of the Metrolinx SAM objectives specifically related to Compliance Optimization and Audit Services. The scope of these services requires the Vendor to perform analysis, produce and deliver compliance reports, guide and assist Metrolinx I&IT with any remedial work required and provide software market trend / awareness insight. Details are further described in the Scope of Services of the RFP Document.
The provision of services is for a two (2) year term. Metrolinx’s intention is to award the contract to one Vendor.

Responses to the RFP will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. EST on October 3, 2019 through Electronic Bid Submission (EBS) at the Metrolinx MERX Portal.
Proponents must download the RQQ documents from the Metrolinx MERX Portal in order for their submission to be considered. Metrolinx reserves the right to reject any or all submissions at its sole discretion.
